Dennis Obel LinkedIn & OurRoots.Africa LinkedIn: The Bridge to Your Ancestral Kingdom

If you have been following the Dennis Obel LinkedIn journey recently, you know we are building something unprecedented for the global diaspora. Today, as we invite you to also join the official OurRoots.Africa LinkedIn community, we want to share exactly why this platform exists and why your journey home matters.
Beyond the Percentages
@whoisadiv Replying to @sodeevyne here are my DNA results as someone who is African American / Haitian #ancestry #africanancestry #africantiktok #blacktiktok #haitiantiktok #nigeriantiktok #togotiktok #23andme
You take a DNA test and get the results: 45% Ghana, 23% Nigeria (for some reason unknown to me Nigeria always appears in most African DNAs). These are percentages that were supposed to tell you who you are, but often leave you feeling more lost than ever. You have the data, but where is the story?
For millions in the African diaspora, the journey home is a profound, spiritual calling. Yet, it is often fraught with anxiety. You might ask yourself, “Am I African enough?” or “Will I be seen as a relative or a walking ATM?”.
@afrofeast Am I African Enough? 😭 Her DNA Results Changed Everything 🇬🇭✨ #OurRootsAfrica #ghanaheritage #blackhistory #afrofeasttravel Amara Johnson opens her DNA results — breathing heavily, wondering who she really is and whether she’s African enough. Her face tells the whole story: the fear, anxiety, the hope, and finally — the light of knowing she’s heading to Afrika for her heritage pilgrimage and that she’s a daughter, not just a tourist🌍✨ This is the first short from The OurRootsAfrica Project, a new Afrofeast.travel storytelling series exploring identity, ancestry, and belonging across the African diaspora. 🌱 More powerful stories coming soon. Join the train! 🎥 @afrofeast
Generic travel platforms and booking sites are not equipped for this sacred pilgrimage. They offer logistics, not healing.
A Digital Sanctuary for the Diaspora

This is why we created OurRoots.Africa. We are not a travel agency, a booking site, or a tour operator.
We are the world’s first AI-powered cultural intelligence platform—a digital sanctuary dedicated to the African diaspora.
Our guiding principle is simple: “Emotions First, Logistics Second”.
We believe the journey home begins long before a flight is booked—it begins within. Our platform is designed to focus on the emotional and cultural preparation that turns anxiety into confidence, confusion into clarity, and longing into belonging.
From our proprietary Travel DNA Quiz to Amen AI, our 24/7 trauma-informed cultural companion, we are here to support your intergenerational healing.
