Top Jobs In Demand In Australia
Australia is looking for skilled workers. Yes, it is not easy to get in with all the recent visa changes and Federal elections around the corner; however, you can always try your luck. I have met several Africans and Asians who have migrated to Australia through skilled visas and are settled and doing well. Please note that I do not encourage Africans to leave their countries to travel and live in the West; however, every person has a unique need, and I only provide information for your consumption. Below are the top jobs in demand in Australia right now.
1. Aged or disabled carer

The Australian disability sector is booming. On average, the Australian Government injects more than A$40 billion into the industry annually.
The National Insurance Development Scheme employs thousands of Australians who have started businesses, and many migrants on temporary or student visas work in this industry.Â
Unlike the Western nuclear family, where parents and grandparents are forced into nursing homes, in the African and Asian extended family systems, one is obliged to care for the elderly and disabled.
Thus, Africans and Asians have an advantage in the aged and disability sector, and it is not surprising that most work in this sector.
What aged or disabled carers do
Most aged and disabled persons are unable to care for themselves fully – they need daily physical and psychosocial support to function. Thus, aged or disabled carers help their clients with the following:
